About the paper
Local reporting, held to account
The Benton Record is an independent, locally operated newsroom serving Benton and greater Franklin County. We cover public meetings, school sports, and the everyday stories that show how the community lives.
Our standard is accuracy, fairness, and relevance to the people who read us. When we make a mistake, we correct it openly, and we keep the channels open for story ideas, tips, and corrections from residents.
